Allow local network access to XRDP on port 3389 for secure connections, or open port 3389 to all IP addresses for broader remote access with:

sudo ufw allow from [IP_Address] to any port 3389
sudo ufw allow 3389

Now, to test the XRDP connection, first open “Remote Desktop Connection” on your window by searching it in your search bar as shown below:

After that, enter your Ubuntu’s system IP address and username and click “Connect”:
